Azmodan, Lord of Sin is the fourth and newest Diablo 4 world boss, added in Season 11. The Lesser Evil joins the standard 3.5-hour spawn clock and closes the 8-spawn rotation in slots 7 and 8, right after Ashava. His weekly first kill awards Azmodan's Spoils, a bundle of Exquisite Blood, Tributes and Runes that makes him the most rewarding boss for endgame crafting.
How Azmodan's spawn time is calculated
Every Diablo 4 world boss spawns on one global clock: one spawn every 3.5 hours (210 minutes), counted from the verified anchor spawn at . The four bosses rotate in pairs — Wandering Death ×2 → Avarice ×2 → Ashava ×2 → Azmodan ×2 — so one full rotation is 8 spawns, or 28 hours.

Azmodan mechanics
- Sin barrages: Azmodan rains fire and shadow across large sections of the arena. Each barrage is telegraphed; move to the clear patches instead of running blindly.
- Minion waves: he summons lesser demons during the fight. Clear them quickly or they will overwhelm ranged players.
- Ground eruptions: lines of hellfire erupt from the floor under players. Keep moving between casts.
- Stagger: like every world boss, filling his Stagger bar opens a damage window. Save burst for it.
